FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHERE CAN I FIND YOUR PRICES?
Click here to check out our current prices.

Note that as our 2025-2026 schedules fill up (and also, the cost of living in California goes up) prices are subject to increases, so be sure to snatch us up before those price changes come!

HOW DO YOU PICK THE MUSIC? CAN WE BE INVOLVED?
We creatively explore music that fits your vibe, story, and footage from a licensed music library called Musicbed.com and if you’d like to create a musicbed account and search for some tracks that you would prefer us to use, you’re welcome to do so, but it can be kindof a lot of “work”, so you’re not obligated to.

If you choose to leave the music choices fully up to us, we kindly ask that you keep an open mind, but we’ll of course try to use music that matches your vibes and general preferences.

Note: revisions that involve “changing the music” will add additional fees.

WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
In our contract, we allow ourselves “1-5 months” to deliver a wedding film. It’s a big window of time, because the earliest we could get it to you would be about 4 weeks, but depending on the volume of weddings in my queue, it can take me some time just to get started.

HOW DO YOU CAPTURE THE AUDIO FROM THE CEREMONY & SPEECHES?
Audio is SUPER important for storytelling, so we try to have contingencies. The main audio sources are:

  1. Direct Feed into the ProAudio sound system your DJ/MC sets up for you. We’ll chat with them and get it working! We refer to this as “House Audio”. It almost always works really well, and we have an extremely high end recorder.
The downside to this is if the DJ’s wireless mic fails, or suddenly we get a buzzing sound, all of that gets recorded. And that’s why we have backups!

  2. Wired Lavalier Mic on Groom It’s a gadget the size of a pack of gum, that clips on or sits in the grooms coat pocket. It does not transmit wirelessly, so there’s no risk of interference or weird glitches. It’s friggen awesome. Also, it records a high and low level simultaneously, so if you’re yelling or whispering, we’ll have audio.

  3. Wired Lavalier Mic on Officiant. Same as above!

  4. Other Mics and Recorders. Several other tools we whip out if need be. Talk to us if you think there’s going to be lots of wind or other noise at your event, and we’ll figure it out!

IS YOUR BUSINESS INSURED?
Yep! General Liability and Aerial Drone Liability. If your venue needs a Certificate of Insurance, just let us know.

DO YOU USE DRONES?
We do use drones, but like, some videographers get kinda crazy with the drone stuff. Honestly for us, it’s just an additional tool to capture b-roll footage from high up in the air. We don’t fly it around during the ceremony, or anywhere near human beings or fragile objects. Also, as we’re licensed to fly drones, we adhere to the FAA rules and guidelines which means that we can’t fly in certain zones that are cordoned off (national parks, near airports/military stuff, etc.) or during risky weather situations.
